It was the week of my 19th birthday. I had decided that I wanted to party and have fun for
my birthday. I had made plans with my friend Josiah to go out to a gay club called Lux the night before my birthday. I was
starting to have second thoughts about going. Don't ask me why it could have been nerves. That Tuesday I was with my best
friend Yahyra while she was getting a manicure and we happened to see an old friend from High School. His name was Minh and
he was preparing to move to Florida that Friday. I had heard through the grapevine, meaning Kyle, that Minh was gay. Minh
was telling us about these clubs he had gone to in the city unaware that I knew that most of these clubs were gay clubs. When
Minh stepped away to use the bathroom I told Yahyra I was going to confront him about what I had heard. Yahyra already knew
what I knew because I always reported back to her when I got a hold of some juicy gossip and vica versa. So Minh returned
and I basically said "So Minh I heard you have an account on match.com and it says male seeking male. Whats that about?" He
blushed and admitted he was Bi, meaning he was gay but scared to admit it completely, and I told him I was too, hoping it
would soften the blow of what I was so bluntly asking him. We went our seperate ways and I prepared for my night "out" no
pun intended. Josiah and I arrived at the club, Lux, at around 10:30 p.m. just an hour and a half before I was officially
19. At about 11 o'clock the club began to get more crowded and I spotted this cute guy walk through the door. From a distance
he resembled Ashton Kutcher. I mean he had the same style and body type as well as similar features as Ashton. I saw him go
up to a group of guys and figured one of them was his boyfriend. At one point he and his group of friends were standing at
the bar behind Josiah and I and I was trying my best not to look like I was trying to look at him. Then out of nowhere I felt
a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and it was the guy I had been eyeing all night face to face with ME!
